Thank you to everyone who participated in the April poll. This was my first poll and I started it about halfway through the month. This website is still pretty small and obscure, without a whole lot of traffic, so I was happy to get 14 votes, although I would like to see more votes in future polls.
Poll question: What is the sexiest Russian/Ukrainian pop group?

NikitA is the clear winner here, and it's not hard to see why. This Ukrainian group lost a member and had to find a replacement in 2011 but still managed to release 2 of the sexiest music videos of the year. The anchor of the group is Dasha Astafieva, who started as a nude model with Hegre-Art and Met-Art, then became a Playmate with the Ukrainian edition of Playboy, and then was selected as the 55th Anniversary Playmate for the U.S. edition of Playboy (and Hef's girlfriend for a while). When she appeared as a U.S. Playmate, she was already working with NikitA, which has been her main focus since then. The other original member of NikitA was Yulia Kavtaradze. Yulia was also an original member of another group called A.R.M.I.Y.A, which formed about a year before NikitA did. Yulia left the group after less than a year to have a baby, and then became one of the two original members of NikitA. She then left NikitA in 2011, after appearing in one of the best music videos of the year, the outrageous and sexy "Bite." To fill the gap, Anastassia Kumieko (better known as Nana) left A.R.M.I.Y.A and joined Dasha in the group, and they released another great video called "20:12." The group then decided to collaborate with Maxim Ukraine to recruit a third member and released this video early in 2012.
The results are in the latest edition of Maxim Ukraine, and the third member of NikitA is Yulia Brychkovska.
Again, congratulations to NikitA for being the sexiest pop group in all of Russia and Ukraine, and please keep up the good work!
